Taran is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner with over 10 years of experience on the mats. After high school, he lived and trained in San Diego, where he and his brother were busy kicking butts and taking names. His journey through Jiu-Jitsu has been one of relentless self-improvement, discipline, and growth — values he carries both on and off the mats.
When he’s not rolling, Taran channels his passion for problem-solving into writing software. As a self-taught software engineer, he enjoys building with TypeScript and crafting solutions that are as technical as his Jiu-Jitsu game is tactical.
Whether on the mats or behind a keyboard, Taran thrives on learning, evolving, and pushing limits.
